Anadia Mastering

Anadia Mastering was born when Thomas Mueller decided to combine his musician's heart with his engineer's head. A guitarist, singer and songwriter familiar with the Midwest music scene and an admitted math nerd with a master's in mechanical engineering, Thomas was drawn to the art & science of mastering.

As an engineer, he loves the equations behind music, the precisely designed equipment, the technical puzzles to solve. As a musician, he loves using his ears and following his gut to tease life into a track.

Thomas wants to break the myth of mastering engineers as solitary wizards making magic with mysterious machines behind closed doors (on the high-end) and scam artists offering cheap polish for, well, cheap (on the low-end). He wants to get to know you and your goals for your music. Then he wants to discuss how you could get there with his services, in light of your current recording.

"I think mastering is a black box for people," he says, "and I want to make sure you understand what you're getting for your investment."

So there you have it: an engineer with heart, a musician who digs the calculus of what we know as sound, ready to draw back the curtain on the mastering world to make your project the best it can be.
